THE CHALLENGE
Some of the ground conditions next to the creek required a higher KPA shoring solution with a product that would not slow down the work such as sheet piles. The client, Summerset has very strict regulations that must be followed and a demanding time frame in which this project must be completed.
THE SOLUTION
We offered our new range of Versa shields that are a drag capable Aluminium shield. With this new range of shields they gave the client the dragging and KPA capabilities of a steel shield but a lighter weight option. We recommended using the 7m and 5m long shields that also allowed them to lay more pipe safely with fewer shields.
