Access for 40tonne construction vehicles on top an existing driveway over a creek.
THE CHALLENGE
To install a temporary bridge solution on top of a concrete driveway structure over a creek to access a property for housing development/subdivision. The existing structure can only handle small vehicles and could not be damaged or removed.
THE SOLUTION
We offered the Mabey C200 temporary bridge setup of 9m long x 4.2m wide with a 44Tonne loading capacity. The installation took 1 day with 3 people of which one operated a 5tonne digger to move the components. The bridge was then lifted into place with a crane mounted truck and decks installed last.
